Spine surgery

Spine surgery is used to correct problems with the vertebrae (bones) or the disks (soft cushions) in the spine. This includes the neck, middle and lower back.

Spine surgery can also relieve pain caused by pressure on nerves near the spine and spinal cord. These problems may be due to injury, curvature or conditions like arthritis.
