Spiritual Care at Cambridge Medical Center

For many people, there is a close connection between the inner life and physical life of a person. To help the whole person, the hospital makes available chaplaincy services to provide spiritual care, emotional support, and information to patients and families, staff and community.

Our chaplaincy staff is comprised of area  pastors and clergy who have had training in Clinical Pastoral Education or an equivalent experience in ministry or counseling. They are volunteers who take turns on call.

If you wish to have a chaplain visit, notify a staff member, nurse, or social worker. The staff can also contact a chaplain of a particular denomination or church as requested. A chapel on the first floor is available for private or small group use and has many helpful resources.
