    HEALTH CAREER SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

    Scholarship applications are available in Administration for students accepted and/or enrolled in a medical-related education program. The deadline to apply for these scholarships is April 30. 

    The following scholarships are available:

    CMC AUXILIARY

  • Gertrude Gunderson Scholarship

    Cambridge Medical Center Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship - $1,000 for a graduate of the area served by CMC or who now lives in the area served by CMC who is accepted into a nursing program leading to a degree. Gertrude Gunderson was the Auxiliary’s first president. Her family established this scholarship in her memory.
  • CMC Auxiliary Scholarships

    Two $1,000 scholarships are available to anyone who is a graduate of the area served by Cambridge Medical Center, or who now resides in the area, and is presently accepted into a health career program leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Associate degree, or an accredited school granting a certificate in a health care field.

    CAMBRIDGE MEDICAL CENTER

    CMC Family Scholarship:

    • $1,000 awarded to an employee or a family memeber who is accepted into a health career program leading to a BA, BS, or AA degree.
    • Two $1,000 scholorships for a graduate of the area served by CMC or who now lives in the area and is accepted into a health career program leading to a BA, BS, or AA degree.

    MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

    Specific Available Scholarships:

    • Gerald A. Larson, MD

    $1,500 for a medical student who has successfully completed at least one semester of medical school. The medical student must have resided in the area or have a mother or father living in the area.

    • Daniel R. Huff, MD Scholarship

    $1,000 to a child from a single parent family or a single parent who is a graduate of the areas served by CMC or who now resides in the area and is accepted into a medical related field leading to a BA, BS, AA or MD.

    Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarships:

    These are additional scholarships for students in medically related fields and usually numbered 5-8 in availability, and for amounts of $500-$1,000. They also specify acceptance into your medical field and completion of at least one semester with transcript of grades provided.


    Important – If you are enrolled at the Cambridge Community College in the nursing program, please DO NOT apply for a Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarship. The Foundation has established scholarships specific to this program. Contact CCC for more information.

    Please call Administration at Cambridge Medical Center for an application at 763-689-7840. The deadline to apply for these scholarships is April 30.


    CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI SCHOOL DISTRICT 911 – DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS

    The Medical Center and Auxiliary through the “Dollars for Scholars” program also awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors at Cambridge-Isanti’s Annual Scholarship Program in May. To be eligible for those scholarships encourage your child to complete the application provided by the high school. These are awarded to seniors who are pursuing a career in a medical field.

    Please support Dollars for Scholars by making a donation to the scholarship program during their upcoming annual telethon fundraiser.

    These are the application forms that you can fill out and mail them to Lori Kahring at Cambridge Medical Center.
